Good to know

Questions, answered.

A few practical details for making an invitation and responding to one. The host's event settings determine what each guest can see.

For guests

Do I need an account or an app to RSVP?

No. Open a permitted invitation in your browser to respond. A restricted invitation may ask you to verify the email address the host invited; this is for that event, not a WarmInvite account.

Can I forward an invitation link?

A public link can be forwarded, and someone with it may be able to view and respond. A private link alone does not reveal protected event details or let another person edit the named guest's reply; the invited email must be verified. A screenshot or copied text can still reveal information already visible to you.

What if I cannot open or trust an invitation?

If a link looks unexpected, ask the host through a channel you already trust. Do not share a sign-in or verification code with anyone. For a technical problem, see guest support guidance.

Can I change my reply later?

Where the event is still open, return to its invitation and use the event-specific reply management or verification flow. Availability can change when the host uses approval, a waitlist, or a seat offer.

For hosts

Can I try a design before signing in?

Yes. You can explore all eight collections and start a draft without an account. Your unsigned draft is saved in that browser for seven days after the last edit. Sign in to save it to your account and manage it on the web; the same saved event will be available in the iPhone app when released. Uploads and AI tools require a verified host session.

Which sharing options are available?

Choose a public link for open replies, a request-to-attend link that asks for your approval before seats are confirmed, or a private invitation for named guests. Private guests verify their invited email before seeing protected details. A collaboration link is for trusted cohosts, who must sign in before they can help manage the event.

Will guests be told when I edit an event?

Saving draft wording does not automatically email everyone. Material changes, such as a date, venue, or access change, show an audience and impact review before publication. Your dashboard shows message status; a provider accepting an email does not prove that a person received or read it.

Can AI make the whole invitation for me?

Optional AI tools can suggest wording, a collection, or a design direction for you to review. You decide what to keep and publish. Generated images are separate drafts that you must review and choose explicitly; they never replace your invitation content automatically.

Plans and event life

Is WarmInvite a subscription?

The proposed launch plans are per event: Complimentary, Essential, and Signature, with a three-event Signature pack. Monthly and annual subscriptions are not part of the initial release. See plans and limits for the current reference catalogue.

When is a paid event credit used?

A paid credit is used only when an event is first published successfully. Drafts and previews do not use one, and editing that event during its service period does not use another. Purchased credits are intended not to expire.

How long does an event stay available?

Guest access and event operations continue for 30 days after the event. The host's design archive lasts up to 12 calendar months from first publication. Initial dates must be within six months, and a postponement must leave 30 days of service inside the archive limit. Hosts can review dates and export options in their event view.

Can I buy an event now?

Paid checkout is disabled in this prelaunch build. The USD amounts on the pricing page are proposed references before applicable tax. When purchasing opens, the checkout must show the final local price and terms before payment. Withdrawal and refund information is separate from deleting an event.
